QUESTION: Was the tithe removed or should the believer in Grace learn from Abraham?

THOUGHT: The Apostle Paul tells us to consider things written aforetime---Romans 15:4.

I. Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness---Romans 4: 1-3.

II. Was the tithe (one tenth of all), just of the Law? No.

A. Genesis 14:20 Abraham is not told to, but purposed in his heart

B. Hebrews 7: 5 Levi had commandment to take tithes of the people, "according to the law"

Question: If it were right for Abraham, who believed God and it was accounted righteous to give tithes of all, where

would it be wrong for the believer in Grace, who also has righteousness imputed to him, as Abraham, to give tithes of all?

VI. How does one know who to give to?

VIII. Does giving go to the account of the believer as "fruit''?

CONCLUSION: Grace preachers need not ask for money, but it is right for the people to give to the needs of the preacher.
